Angela grew up in San Antonio and moved to Austin in 2005 to obtain her degree in Organizational Communications at St Edward’s University. While in school, she worked as a residential consultant for a local broadband company, where she became intimately familiar with all the charming neighborhoods that Central Austin has to offer; this inspired Angela to raise her daughter in the Bryker Woods and Rosedale community, where they have lived since 2009.
Angela’s fascination with Real Estate began as a young girl, touring unique homes with her father who was a Realtor at the time. As a child, she remembers exploring homes with secret doorways, spiral staircases and “dome homes” that attempted innovative, eco‐friendly design. These early impressions were a foreshadow to eventually finding her niche in Real Estate; although the career choice didn’t appear obvious at first.
Long before obtaining her real estate license, Angela often found herself helping friends and newcomers discover cool places to live, play and work. She even developed a website in 2010 designed to be a local’s guide to Austin. It finally occurred to her that she could earn a respectable living out of doing what she truly loved: being a trusted resource and local guide in her city!
By 2013 she had her license and ventured out with a globally recognized brokerage based in Austin, TX. However, she mostly saw herself working for a boutique brokerage with a niche market in Central Austin. After interviewing with several brokerages she admired, Angela officially joined forces with Cityscape Property Group and specializes in helping clients discover all the bike-friendly neighborhoods in Austin!
Angela’s other diverse work experiences including Interpreter of American Sign Language, Banking & Trust, as well as guest teaching at various schools throughout the district- are all important attributes to her skill set and enhance the unmatched service she provides as a Realtor.
Angela’s many passions include historic neighborhoods, new urbanism, equitable development and innovative solutions to health disparities‐‐she believes all of these things are connected and that Realtors have a unique opportunity to positively impact the way people live. Thus, she considers it a privilege and honor to help clients not just obtain the lifestyle they seek, but to truly thrive in their community.
